Monaco’s top cultural venue launches its winter programme in what promises to be a mélange of top quality shows, exhibitions and conferences. Music and dance dominate the agenda.
October sees the International Sports Convention for Television and Media return to Grimaldi. 2011 saw over 2,000 participants from 970 companies and 67 countries. Featuring conferences, sporting demonstrations, and the prestigious Georges Bertellotti Golden Podium awards for best sport images.

Monaco’s national opera house put on La Fanciulla del West to celebrate the Fete Nationale Monegasgasque (invitation only) and will run two special performances for for the public.

Ballets of Monte-Carlo

Monaco’s ballet company puts on an impressive vairiety of performances. Graduates of The Princess Grace Dance Company Academy showcase their talents for a special one-off ballet performance open to the public (13 Dec.). The Monaco Dance Forum follow with a diverse mix of choreographic homages and interpretaions (13-23 Dec). From 29 Dec until 3 Jan, the ballet company of Jean-Christophe Maillot will present LAC in Monaco before it leaves for its world tour.
