Ni Box Monaco

2012-01-13 20:11

What: Ni Box
Where: 35 bd Louis II,  Rond-Point du Portier,  Monaco
When: see below for opening hours

One of the most striking additions to the Monaco skyline in recent years is the Ni Box, next door to the Auditorium Rainier III.  The stunningly-designed space fits perfectly into Monaco's marina architecture, with sweeping curved surfaces and giant portholes calling to mind the many superyachts which berth here throughout the year.

Ni Box provides a wide range of activities for all ages including a rooftop ice-free skating-rink, colourful bowling alleys (2pm till late) and indoor jorkyball, as well as the usual slew of video games and simulators.

The club includes a new-generation 'healthy' Macdonalds, and a safe environment in which cash transactions are banned in favour of prepaid cards -  which also act as proof of ID and membership of the loyalty scheme. Above all this is a safe space designed for young teenagers and upwards.
