Wizards of Oz celebrate Australia Day in Monaco!

No self-respecting Aussie would be without a beer and barbecue on their National Day, and that includes those living in the Monaco region. So it's no surprise that Australian expats will be celebrating the event on Thursday 26 January at Zest on the Port of Monaco - and they're inviting all their friends, of whatever nationality, to join them for an afternoon and evening of great Antipodean action.

The event will feature Happy Hour prices on all wine, beer and long drinks from 4pm to 9pm, along with a 'barbie' and snacks. In the spirit of family fun, there will be a great range of activities for kids from 4pm to 6pm, and a fantastic firework display over the harbour at 7.45pm. Seating for the three-course fixed price dinner (€35) is limited, so it's recommended to make a reservation directly with Zest (Tel +377 97 98 49 70)

Oh - and one last thing - whether you come as Skippy, Crocodile Dundee, or the Sydney Opera House, it's an occasion to dress up in your best 'down-under' wear - if you see what we mean!

4pm to 6pm: Family Time (kid’s games)
4pm to 9pm: Happy Hour and 'Barbie'
7.45pm: Fireworks
9.30pm: Australia Day Dinner (€35/reservation recommended)
