Monaco has no shortage of high-quality bars and clubs, but there's one that's fast becoming a magnet for all music fans: Black Legend.
If you've been to the Byblos/Caves du Roy in St Tropez, you'll be used to the blend of luxury chic and fast-moving clubbing that defines this new venue Port Hercule.
For those who enjoy the atmosphere and decor of nearby Stars'n'Bars, Legend has a distinctively stateside flavour, inspired by the architecture of downtown Manhattan and predominantly 70s Motown music.
And that's where the name of the club comes in: it's designed to evoke not only luxury and tradition, but also - literally - the music of Black Legends of the Motown sound. The entertainment will be drawn from performers on that label such as the Jackson Five, Diana Ross and The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and The Commodores, and Lionel Richie.
The experience is enhanced by great food - including tapas deluxe from the Byblos's chef - champagne in plenty, and an altogether fantastic new experience in this modern-vintage setting.
