With its boutique hotel and sundeck bar on Rue Grimaldi, and its space-age club and games centre nestled behind the Fairmont, not to mention the lively Tapas scene across the road, the Ni brand has established itself in a very short time as one of the great entertainment hubs of Monaco. And although the
Ni Hotel has been around for a little while longer, it's just a year since the architecturally innivative
Ni Box sprang up, its white curves reflecting not just the shapes of the neighbouring superyachts, but also great scoops of Mediterranean sunshine.
New water's edge terrace
Now all that light is to be harnessed even more with the opening of the sea-view
Ni Club Terrace. It's just one of many special events designed to celebrate the Box's
first birthday.
Adjacent to the Ni Box, the arcaded lounge bar opens directly onto the sea, making it the ideal place for an aperitif or sundowner. The terrace is open on Thursdays from 7 pm to 1 am, Fridays, Saturdays and the evenings before bank holiday 7pm to 4.30am
Watch the Monaco Grand Prix from the roof!
Not to be confused with the Club terrace is the roof terrace overlooking the Fairmont hairpin, from which you are invited to view the
Monaco Grand Prix on the three successive days, (for €70, €300 and €600 respectively or just €750 for all three). Included in the price is not only an open bar, but also a lunch buffet from noon till 3pm on the race weekend itself. Cheaper rates of €50 to €80 and a MacDonalds menu are available for those preferring ground-floor access only.
