La Note Bleue offers a great programme of live jazz throughout the summer, in a truly elegant setting
Between sky and sea, Anne and Alain Tanzi have come up with the perfect recipe for jazz-lovers from all over the world at
La Note Bleue. If Monaco
sometimes seems a little parochial, this is the remedy. From Wednesday to Saturday and from 6.30 'round midnight', they're all going to
La Note Bleue: jazzmen, beach-bums, and lovers of Chef Paya's special menu.

Named in tribute to famous Jazz saxophonist Barney Wilen,
La Note Bleue in Monaco's Larvotto district is one of the premier jazz venues in Monaco. It also has its own restaurant, private beach and boutique. At its beating heart is the Lounge Bar, inspired by the architecture and colours of Marrakech, whose combination of olivewood, teak and unbleached cotton provides an atmosphere that's both sensual and cool. The Moroccan theme is continued in the establishment's product line, where you can buy not only branded t-shirts and perfumes, but also hand-crafted products from north Africa.
Concerts start at 6.30 from Wednesday to Saturday in a varied programme where everyone can find something to their taste. The atmosphere is perfect as live music drifts out on to the beach itself, while chef Laurent Paya provides a great international menu: his desserts have become classics in Monaco, including the delicious 'pastille Toblerone' - melted chocolate in crispy pastry, and an elegant vanilla and coconut fondant, perfect accompaniment to a summer night's jazz.
