Regular spectators at the Monaco Grand Prix will have fond memories of Le Venezia, perched right on the Ste Devote corner with a thrilling view of the action. Well, now it’s had a makeover and has been renamed the MC² - suitably enough for a bar-restaurant with such an energetic reputation.
MC also stands for 'mediterranean cuisine': its gastronomic dishes are inspired by the traditional cooking of the region, based on top-quality ingredients, with its own individual twist. Special offers include an exceptional Sunday brunch, an all-week 12 o'clock lunch offer, and other special menus.
This latest foodie haunt near the harbour is trendy, healthy and fun - and perfectly located for anyone wanting to enjoy long summer lunches while attending the International Showjumping, or this September’s major attraction, the Monaco Yacht Show.
MC² is an open-plan eatery, combining takeaway, bar and restaurant. You can sit inside or on the terrace, have a leisurely drink at the bar, enjoy cocktails with home-made snacks or simply pick up a takeaway to eat at home or on board. It may not be everyone's idea of a luxury restaurant, but MC² offers an efficient, fast and local service along with high quality and its own savoir-faire.
