This boutique luxury hotel, set in a leafy avenue of Cap d’Ail, provides excellent value for money. A stone's throw from Monaco, it's perfectly located for the frequent train service to Italy, Nice and Cannes.
The building itself, like many of the villas in the area, dates from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, and its belle-epoque appearance has changed little since the days when it was a private house which the late
Prince Rainier visited as a child.
Its 14 elegant rooms all have en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning,
enabling visitors to enjoy a relaxed and refreshing holiday. In
addition, there's a private bar, private garden for those all-essential
cocktails, and excellent breakfasts. Business travellers are well
catered for in terms of fully-equipped meeting rooms and complimetary
wifi access.
If you're planning a trip to the
Monaco Yacht Show or the Monaco Grand
Prix, this is an inexpensive alternative to staying in Monaco itself.
On the other hand, if you prefer to stay put in Cap d'Ail, the immediate vicinity of the hotel has much to offer: magnificent villas, beautiful
coastal walks and wonderful restaurants on the edge of the
Mediterranean; and the nearby
Réserve de la Mala and
Plage de Passable are both great for beach-lovers.
Nearby attractions include the
Villa Kerylos, a stunning recreation of an ancient Greek home, perched on the very edge of the sea, and the
Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, whcih every summer plays host to a
festival of opera.
