To celebrate this year's Valentine's Day, and in anticipation of the coming Royal Wedding, the award-winning 5-star Métropole Hotel has embraced Parisian fashion house Lanvin to produce a romantic 'Love is in the Air' package available from 1 February to 8 April. Together, they will bring a whole new level to your romantic experience of Monte Carlo.
Guests taking advantage of this special offer will receive a beautiful black-ribbon Lanvin keyring with red heart detail, and for those staying in a suite, a stunning tote bag from the same 'Heart' collection. For the dream honeymoon, lovers will be able to stay in the 'Suite Carré d’Or' (Golden Square Suite), an apartment of 150m2 with an additional 100m2 terrace with a 180-degree view over the Principality.
Valentines will be entertained with a choice of specially concocted cocktails: Love You (elderflower and sake with lychee and pink champagne) or Love Me (150-year old bitter orange liqueur, Nayan vanilla and champagne), both served with rose petals and strawberry.
Finally, to add to the atmosphere of romance, 'Miss Rose', the hotel’s florist and stylist, has devised
original and spectacular flower arrangements based on the theme of love,
with a huge bouquet of pink and red roses in the Salon des Princes, and
a decorative cake.
There are personal touches by Alber Elbaz, Lanvin's Artistic Director and award-winning designer, whose humorous cartoon has been produced exclusively for the Metropole: on Valentine's night Alber will style the waitresses in elegant Lanvin dresses and the Maitres d’ with signature Lanvin bow-ties.
Love is in the Air from 1 February to 8 April, two-night minimum stay includes:
- a VIP welcome with champagne and flowers plus a special Lanvin gift (either a beautiful black-ribbon Lanvin keyring with red heart detail, or a stunning Lanvin tote bag from the same 'Heart' collection.)
- accommodation for two in one of the hotel’s beautiful Superior rooms designed by world-renowned interior designer Jacques Garcia, with guaranteed upgrade to next category.
- a private 'Helicopter Experience' ride over the Principality and the French Riviera.
- a complimentary 'Love You' or 'Love Me' cocktail at the bar
- a romantic dinner for two at the Joël Robuchon or a 1-hour treatment each at the Métropole Espa with choice of treatments.

Valentine's Day
On 14 February itself, guests staying at the hotel may enjoy - for a supplementary €60 - a Valentine's Day Dinner at the Joël Robuchon Restaurant comprising a seven-course romantic menu created by Executive Chef, Christophe Cussac. For the dessert, Chef Patissier Patrick Mesiano will serve a heart-shaped cheesecake, again devised in collaboration with Alber Elbaz. One lucky Valentine will find a heart-shaped figurine under her napkin and will receive a beautiful black silk Lanvin evening bag.

...why not a Metropole ESPA Monte-Carlo Gift Voucher - a unique experience, allowing its recipient the time to unwind and escape. Each ritual or treatment can be personalised and is available for several months.
