You are invited to participate in this year's Monaco Run, a set of competitive events which takes place at the beginning of Spring every year. Entrants must be at least 16 years old, and at least 18 years old for the marathon.


Riviera Classic: the world's most beautiful marathon course?


Just like last year, the 2012 Run will consist of three competitions:

First, there's the 10th Monte Carlo 10km (run entirely within the boundaries of the Principality), and the Monaco Relay (also ten kilometres, but for teams of two runners). Both make use of the same course, which begins and ends at Port Hercule. The circuit is as follows:

Quai Albert I - Tunnel Rocher/Noguès - Tunnel Rocher/Cathédrale - Tunnel Rocher/Fontvieille - Avenue Prince Albert II - Avenue des Castelans - Avenue Prince Albert II -Tunnel Rocher/Palais - Tunnel Rocher/Intermédiaire - Tunnel Rocher/Antoine I - Quai Antoine I - Boulevard Albert I - Rue Grimaldi - Rond point Auréglia - Boulevard du Larvotto - Avenue Princesse Grâce - Boulevard Louis II - Ave Président J.F. Kennedy - Quai des Etats-Unis - Route de la Piscine - Quai Albert 1er

For the relay, the first runner completes the loop around Fontvieille (green) before handing over to their partner to complete the 7km red section.

Both races start at 9.30am from Port Hercule

The 2nd annual Riviera Classic, surely one of the most beautiful marathon courses anywhere in the world, whose 23.8km course uniquely takes in the coastline of three countries - Monaco, France and Italy.

The race begins in Ventimiglia at 9.45am. The route is shown below:
