Dominic Morris, a 39-year-old furniture designer originally from London, moved to the Côte d'Azur just four years ago, but has already found a receptive audience of private clients for his bespoke commissions, such as the backgammon table pictured below.
The sleek-looking item of furniture has the dimensions of a low, long coffee table - but it's far more than that. This complete entertainment centre comes with a beautifully designed backgammon board with pieces and dice, as well as an integrated champagne/ice bucket and champagne glass holders. Manufactured from Corian acrylic and stainess steel, it's a hard-wearing and durable product ideal for outdoor use - which is exactly what we put it to when we tried it out!
Dominic has been designing high-end commissions for several years both in the UK and here, and now he is launching the backgammon Table for retail sale. It's available in white, as pictured, or in a selection of alternative colour combinations, all priced at €3950.
