Pearl Motor Yachts, one of the UK’s leading luxury yacht builders, has announced a special collaboration with world-renowned British interior designer Kelly Hoppen MBE. Hoppen, whose work is always in high demand, has been commisioned to design the luxury interior of the flagship Pearl 75, which will be launched in early 2012.
When the top stars of business, sports, film and fashion are looking to create their perfect sanctuary, they know they are in safe hands with world-renowned interior designer, Kelly Hoppen, who creates stunning interior designs for luxury homes, yachts and private jets for an ever-expanding number of international high-profile clients.
The famous 'Hoppen style' is a unique fusion of oriental principles of simplicity and balance with the western taste for sumptuous textures and finishes. The result is an understated luxury, apparent throughout the new Pearl motor yacht.
But this is not a case of style over substance – quite the opposite. As you would expect, the technical systems of the boat also represent the state of the art: twin ZF series 4000 pods coupled to MTU 1250hp engines produce the perfect combination of joystick manoeuvrability with sports boat performance. Hoppen’s design married to Pearl’s technical know-how has resulted in a yacht of unrivalled and consistent quality.
According to Iain Smallridge, Pearl’s Managing Director, the new Pearl 75 will be the largest of the fleet, offering owners four luxuriously-appointed staterooms and a unique open plan galley, lower helm and seating area sheltered under a conservatory-style glass roof. 'This exciting new partnership will continue to keep Pearl at the forefront of innovative yacht design as we strive to offer our customers something a little different. The Pearl 75 has been on the drawing board for nearly three years and is a result of demand from our current owners, some of whom have been involved in the development process.'
Pearl Motor Yachts will be exhibiting the Pearl 60 at this year’s Cannes Boat Show, fom 6 to 11 September on berth TPA 102 and at the Southampton boat show from16 to 25 September on berth M348.
