iRentaBoat, The World's first Global Boat Rental iPhone App

If you were at the
Antibes Yacht Show last month you may have come across
iRentaBoat, a new initiative from Riviera-based La Web Compagnie, who also run
easyboatbooking.com. It's the first ever
iPhone application that allows you search for rental boats and yacht
charters from multiple owners and rental companies under one
roof, all at the touch of your screen.

Gone are the days of trawling through different websites. Whether you are here for the day or for a more extended stay, this hassle-free app gives instant access to a wide variety of yachts and boats available for rent.
The app is free to download, and is set to become a sure-fire hit this summer, according to director Jenny Caird: 'The iPhone now accounts for 43% of all smartphone sales worldwide and iPhone users download the most applications. iRentaBoat is strongly positioned in app marketplace for boat rental and yacht charters.'
Using the app is a simple three-step procedure. First, search for your preferred type of vessel: motor boat, sailing boat, yacht or canal boat; secondly locate your rental on an enhanced Google map. At this point you will be shown details of boats that correspond to your search, and the app then gives contact details with the option of phoning the rental company directly. Links to special offers and even local weather make this a one-stop shop for anyone intending to have some fun on the water this summer.
It's a slick, simple operation that takes much of the donkey-work out of what can be a very time-consuming business.
Don't have an iphone? Don't worry, says Jenny - with constant innovation and ongoing improvements they're already planning a version suitable for other mobile platforms.
