To drive along the Grande Corniche towards La Turbie, with Monaco glinting like a Cartier diamond below you and the blue expanse of the sea stretching away to the horizon on your right, is one of life’s keenest pleasures. To do it in an open-top Ferrari takes the allure to an entirely new level.
But if you’ve left yours at home in the garage this holiday, don’t despair. Sixt are well known as a car rental firm, but did you know you can also hire sports and luxury models? That means that if you want to skim the coast in a Porsche 911 or Panamera, or watch the gazes of admiration as you pull up outside the
Hotel de Paris in a sleek Ferrari or Aston Martin, well, now you can.
Thanks to the beautiful new fleet on offer, nearly all expectations can be satisfied, whether you’re
James Bond or just pretending to be James Bond. It’s not just the thought of seven speed transmission, adaptive air suspension or astonishing acceleration; it’s the look and feel that makes a luxury car, that particular blend of wood, metal and leather that turns heads. And there’s no question that in Monte Carlo, a car isn’t just for getting around in, it’s for being seen in, or even next to. Or even for
just parking next to the Casino.
Michael Schneider, in charge of the Executive Cars division at Sixt, puts the appeal of renting down to two factors: 'People today think about saving money and time - and it's certainly time-consuming and expensive to own luxury cars. On the other hand, renting cars whenever one needs them saves money and time. That’s why our product is so well accepted in the market, and why we’re on the point of transferring the concept to Germany, Spain and Switzerland, too. The ever-growing number of our luxury fleet proves that we are on the right track.'

Sixt offer this service around the clock, seven days a week, for reservations made either at their office in Cannes, or in Monaco at the
Meridien Hotel. From these locations, vehicles will be delivered in the majority of cases to your villa, hotel or yacht anywhere along the Côte d'Azur. Of course Sixt can also deliver vehicles throughout Europe to wherever you happen to be, but delivery between Monaco and Cannes is free of charge.
What better way to impress your friends and business colleagues? Or possibly,
like Grace Kelly, to catch a thief?
Sixt Luxury Cars looks forward to receiving your requests via email or via phone (see contact details above). Please do not hesitate to contact them if there are any questions you may have.
