Yacht Management experts
PrivatSea, based in the Mediterranean
basin, have over thirty years’ experience in luxury yachting. They provide
expert service and advice in all aspects of the yachting industry from
sales, chartering and management to consultancy and project management
for both new constructions and refits.
The world of yachting can be notoriously complex, even for something as apparently straightforward as
chartering,
but PrivatSea give advice not only on selection, inspection and signing
of contracts but also itineraries and preferences. They manage an
extensive range of the finest motor and sailing yachts from 30 to 122
metres in length, including Alexander and Turama – the two largest
yachts available for charter. The majority of their fleet accommodate up
to twelve guests in exceptional luxury and comfort, along with discreet
onboard service from highly-trained crews. PrivatSea also offer
exclusive benefits such as preferential rates for exclusive villas and
private jet charter, through membership of their
private club.
For
yacht construction and
refits,
PrivatSea (operating independently of specific shipyards or
contractors) draw up cost-effective plans and ensure that work comes in
on time and within budget. With access to the knowledge and expertise of
professionals from all disciplines, their project teams interpret
owners' wishes using the latest technology and the best available
craftsmanship and ensuring (and often exceeding) compliance with
recognized safety standards.
PrivatSea will also negotiate
the minefield of buying and selling, handling every aspect of what can
be a highly complex process: from initial appraisal to final guarantees,
the company takes on the burden of negotiating prices and contracts,
bank transactions and insurance matters, and issues of legal
jurisdiction and registration. The prominence of clients who wish to buy
or sell superyachts can sometimes adversely affect price negotiations;
so here and in every other aspect of the sales process, PrivatSea gives
an assurance of complete confidentiality, respecting the privacy of
clients who may wish to remain anonymous.
PrivatSea's Large Yacht Marine Services Facility offers
yacht berthing
and maintenance facilities in Elefsis, south west of
Athens, with a maximum draft of 20m for yachts of up
to 200m. The facility is
licensed and suitable for year-round maintenance, repairs and services.
These include vehicle access to vessels, power,
telecommunications, water, waste, fuel, storage and 24-hour security.
The facility complies with all international standards and is licensed
as a tax-free zone.
PrivatSea will be exhibiting at the
Monaco Yacht Show on the Parvis Piscine at stand QP25
