For the third consecutive year, Summit will showcase stunning new additions to the collection at stand QP65. Based in Monterey, California, with a wholly owned European subsidiary operating from London headquarters, Summit has been creating distinctive, classic modern teak furniture for thirty years.

Summit has established an international reputation for quality and classic beauty. Its designs, which perfectly evoke the graceful lifestyle of the great days of yachting, have become an essential architectural component that complements the most spectacular terraces, gardens, villas and of course superyachts the world over.

You'll find Summit style in the finest locations in London, Paris, Bali, the Caribbean, New York, Dallas and Los Angeles - and now in Monaco, where Summit opened a new showroom on the charming Rue de Millo in 2008.

Jane Sieberts, president of Summit, says 'We've had many requests over the years to provide a showcase on the Riviera. It's been a long-term goal of mine to establish a presence in such a beautiful part of the world and important port of call' - and there's no question that Monaco fulfils that role.

Summit works exclusively in teak, one of the most attractive woods for furniture. Fine grained and durable, it's not only a beautiful material, but one which is highly resistant to wind and weather, making it ideal for use in yachting or any outdoor environment.  Important for today's discerning clientele, the company uses only the highest quality plantation-grown teak, a sustainable resource, as well as non-toxic finishes. They produce a full spectrum of modern, elegant furniture, from comfortable chairs for deck and dining, to tables, sun loungers and umbrellas, all with a distinctive, timeless appeal.

But the main reason for investing in their furniture is the range of internationally respected designers who regularly collaborate with the company.  Kipp Stewart's First Cabin and Picket collections have each won awards for innovation and excellence; John Munford, the renowned superyacht designer, created the iconic Sundeck collection especially to complement the sleek lines of modern luxury yachts; while Glyn Peter Machin brings a European sense of modern style to his Loggia collection. The most recent designer to work in partnership with Summit is Los Angeles-based Alwy Visschedyk, whose X and Smoothie collections reflect the sources of his inspiration: the simplicity, elegance and grace of the natural world.
