New Signing Ahead of Table Topping Local Clash

EXCLUSIVE: AS Monaco have just confirmed that the Brazilian international defender,  Jorge, has signed a four-year deal with the Ligue 1 leaders before Saturdays vital game vs Nice who sit in second place in the league, separated by goal difference behind table topping AS Monaco.

In a deal worth 8.5 million euros ($9 million), the 20-year-old arrives from Brazilian outfit Flamengo on a deal which will run to at least June 2021.

Jorge was a runner-up in the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2015 alongside new Monaco teammate Gabriel Boschilia who recently earned his first cap with the Brazilian senior team in a 1-0 win over Colombia last week

However, as two new players arrive, Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim, has also revealed that Nigerian left back Elderson Echiejile and French midfielder Fares Bahlouli will be leaving the Riviera outfit.
