Fancy helping a charity focused on benefiting young people in the Principality, then come along to a cocktail fundraiser hosted by Outward Bound Monaco.
It is hoped the event will help raise the profile and some much needed funds for this year’s Outward Bound courses.
The goal of Outward Bound Monaco is to enable local young people to develop life skills such as self-confidence and teamwork, plus realise their full potential through participating in exciting indoor and outdoor activities. The organistion welcomes young people of all backgrounds and nationalities.
However, none of the above can be achieved without the support of members, friends and supporters, particularly after the organisation suffered funding cuts over the past few years.
Judy Churchill, the charity’s general secretary said: “This year our funding has been reduced to a significantly lower level than usual. We are now looking at ways in which we can increase our income in order that we may continue to organise the courses and support those individuals who would be unable to benefit from Outward Bound. It would be wonderful to think that local businesses or individuals could become involved in this community project.”Judy Churchill: Helping young people hit their heights
So if you are a local business or resident, why not come along and meet the some of the Outward Bound team plus those who already support the organisation. Maybe you would like to get involved or contribute to the charity’s success and the children’s futures.
All guests are asked for a contribution of 25 euros towards the evening which can be paid at the door on arrival.
