BOOST

Since arriving in Monaco in three years ago, BOOST have been encouraging Monaco residents to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle with fun group fitness classes, otherwise known as “BOOSTcamp”.

Damian Fisher, head trainer and founder, is forever at the helm and putting his boostcampers through their paces, in one of the most picturesque backdrops, up on the Monaco Port Wall, Digne.

BOOST currently run 6 week ‘BOOSTcamp’ courses that cater to all fitness levels, with classes designed to increase in intensity each week, along with your level of fitness.

“The sessions don’t get any easier, you just become stronger!” explains Damian. “I design the training programs to have as much diversity as possible.  I like to keep people guessing and constantly switch things up so that no workout is the same as the next”.

Paddy Warwick Personal Training

Former professional rugby player Paddy Warwick offers a variety of services to suit all your fitness needs.

If you like to train as part of a team, Paddy’s innovative and varied boot camps may be the thing to get you back on track.

‘Campers’ are grouped according to fitness levels, so training is always with like-minded individuals.

Bootcamps take place on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 09:00-10:15, with an Early Birds Boot camp held from 07:00-08:00.

Each 6-week boot camp includes nutritional plans, 18 training sessions (including 3 body composition and fitness testing sessions), PWBC T-shirt and water bottle and supplementary workout plans.

If a more one-on-one approach is more your thing, Paddy offers personal training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday from 1100-1700, but booking is required.

Sunshine Yoga

If you prefer your exercise to be a little more soothing, on Monday 1 June Sunshine Yoga will be running their monthly Full Moon Yoga class.

Every month Cathy leads a special 2-hour Hatha Yoga class at Sunshine Yoga to celebrate the Full Moon, which offers clients the chance to chant, practice pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditate.

All levels from beginner to advanced are welcome to come and enjoy the energy of the moon in this grounding practice, including Earth, Sun and Moon Salutations, postures for balance and flexibility, followed by an extended guided relaxation.

If you have your own mat then bring that along, otherwise you are welcome to collect one along with any other accessories you may need from the Yoga room on level -1 near the indoor pool.

Weather permitting, sessions will be held outside, otherwise they will take place in one of the hotel’s conference rooms.
