Monaco Challenge is a newly formed association which organises fun challenges – sporting and non-sporting – in aid of a variety of charities and non-profit ventures. Founders Anna Rockall and Layla Kashani hope to inspire and entertain, as well as support great causes.
Monaco TREE Challenge: May 19 Stars’n’Bars 12h
Their first undertaking is the MONACO TREE CHALLENGE, which will be launched at their British Royal Wedding party at Stars’n’Bars on Saturday 19 May. The challenge, which will be ongoing, is to have a tree planted for every resident and citizen of Monaco – 37750!*
Thanks to sponsors Landmark Trust Group, everyone at the event will be given a tree kit to grow themselves, and for each tree kit another tree is planted by event partners Plant for the Planet and ForestNation. Special chocolates which will be given out also count for trees planted and help fund the project.
The British Royal Wedding party, which starts at noon, will be a fun event with the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle being shown live on the big screen in the Stardeck of Stars’n’Bars, and attendees are encouraged to dress up in the spirit of the occasion – red white and blue! There will be a prosecco toast offered by sponsors Relevance and St Tropez House when the happy couple tie the knot.
*The figure 37750 is from the census of 2016, and may need updating
